MEDA was well represented at the recent State Age Championships and Elite Junior Qualifying event held at MSAC this past weekend.

In the State Age Championships MEDA divers performed well, taking home 4 gold and 2 bronze medals. Jonah won gold in the Boys U/11 1m, 3m springboard and 5m platform events. Achieving national qualifying scores in all 3 events. Ella won bronze on the 1m and 3m springboard events for Girls U/11 also with national qualifying scores. She also won gold with Mia in the U/13 Girls synchro event. Mia went on to achieved a national qualifying score on the 3m springboard event for Girls U/12-13. Sophie also represented MEDA and participated in the 1m and 3m springboard events for Girls U/14-15.

In the Junior Qualifying events, Rosie successfully qualified for the Elite Junior B Nationals on the 1m springboard and went extremely close on Platform. Tanni participated in the Elite Junior C 1m and 3m springboard events. Narrowing missing the qualifying score on 1m by less than 2 points. The girls have another opportunity to qualify later in the year, we wish them all the best.
