Jonah was selected to take part in the State team challenge in the Under 11 age group. He won his age group and contributed 23 points to Victoria's overall tally of 53 points helping to second place overall, narrowly missing out on the overall victory by 1 point to eventual winners, Queensland. In his individual events, he won Gold in the U/11 boys 1m springboard event. Gold in the U/11 boys 3m springboard event, scoring a pb of 202 points. In his favourite event the 5m platform he got Bronze and in the last event of the competition, he won Gold in the U/13 boys and mixed 3m Synchro with his partner Kiara from Bendigo Divers. His performances across the competition meant he was named the 2018 Australian Age Nationals U/11 boys Diver of the Year.

Ella participated in the U/11 girls 3m springboard event and dived extremely well to finish 5th, only 4 points away from a bronze medal. She also participated in the 1m springboard event, where there were 23 entrants and had a top 10 finish. Ella teamed up with Mia, a fellow MEDA diver in the U/13 girls 3m Synchro event and dived consistently well across all 4 dives to finish only 1/2 a point away from a bronze medal in fourth place.

Mia also competed individually in the U/12-13 girls 3m springboard event and dived well across all 6 dives to finish 12th in a field of 20 competitors.

All divers are to be congratulated on their efforts and coaches Pavel and Svitlana are also to be congratulated for preparing their athletes to perform at their best across this competition.
